Luminair is a UK design & manufacturing studio born from my passion for sustainable design, creative engineering & craft - offering award winning industrial product design services, unique and exciting small space architecture and creatively engineered small batch interior and outdoor product manufacture.
My work lives in the space where imagination meets structure - spanning industrial product design, small-scale architecture and thoughtfully engineered interior and outdoor products that are as expressive as they are practical.
Engineering is my foundation, but creativity is what gives the work its edge. A deep understanding of how materials behave - how they bend, carry load, age and respond - allows me to push them beyond the expected. From there, design becomes an act of exploration: shaping structure, process and material into something purposeful, efficient and quietly distinctive. I see constraints not as limits, but as creative catalysts that help reveal better, more elegant solutions.
With over two decades of experience, I specialise in turning complex ideas into buildable realities - balancing artistic intent with manufacturing logic, budgets and timescales. The result is work that feels honest and considered, is efficient to produce, and offers something genuinely different to the market. Design that’s not only well made, but thoughtfully imagined and built to last.
